Samstarvið hjá sjúkrarøktarfrøðingum í Norðurlondum stuðlar finsku fakfeløgunum í teirra verkfalli.
The Nordic Nurses’ Federation supports the Finnish health care professionals and their organizations, Tehy and SuPer, in the fight for a better salary and decent working conditions.
The Nordic Nurses’ Federation (NNF) expresses its full support and solidarity to the Union of Health and Social Care Professionals in Finland (Tehy) and the Finnish Union of Practical Nurses (SuPer) and the striking health care professionals in their demand for wage development with a clear real wage growth as well as better working conditions.
NNF represents more than 340,000 Nordic nurses. On behalf of the Nordic nurses, we declare our full support to our colleagues in Finland in their fight for fair pay. Proper salary and decent working conditions are crucial in terms of recruiting and retaining health care professionals. Lack of investment will have major consequences for the patient safety and the health service in general.
You have 340,000 Nordic nurses and their organizations behind you – and we hereby send you strength and solidarity from your colleagues in Sweden, Norway, Iceland, the Faroe Islands and Denmark.
In solidarity
On behalf of the Nordic Nurses’ Federation
Grete Christensen
